How palm vein works
Read the veins, check for life, encrypt the identity
A low infrared light — about the strength of a TV remote — illuminates the vein pattern beneath the skin and confirms it belongs to a living hand. Five million points become a highly encrypted binary number. Enrollment is roughly 15 seconds per hand; verification is under two seconds at 99.99991% accuracy.

Drops into the access control you already own
ePortID interfaces with existing systems over Wiegand or OSDP and powers electric strikes or mag-locks directly. Because the DCU runs on Power over Ethernet up to 100 meters from the source, deployment is flexible and doesn't require a licensed electrician. Choose one, two, or three-part authentication — biometric, card, and PIN.
